The industrial coating route is useful for geometry that is difficult to wrap with rigid insulation, especially valves, flanges, elbows and maintenance areas.
The system requires surface temperature above dew point +3C and relative humidity control during application.
Installation guidance defines primer, aerogel mid-coat, topcoat, dew-point control and curing windows.
